Why?
We have a semi-local web site that is host to lots of various classified ads. It is one on the usual sites that I check daily (several times). What is beyond my belief is why would people that have purses or picture frames for sale take those items OUTSIDE and LAY THEM ON THE GRASS to take pictures!!! Like people are going to rush to buy items that have been laying on the ground – those are not outside items. Maybe it is a southern Arkansas redneck thing. Check it out yourself www.eldoark.com.

I know I’m late on my column, but I’ve been so busy this month with work, remodeling, and school. I was sitting here when I noticed a wood pecker in the tree, outside my window. He was so pretty! It made me think of a story Aunt Sue told me. She says that she used to hate going to school. The boys would have to bribe her into going. One day Aunt Edith was over at their house and she gave her opinion on Aunt Sue going to school. She said that Aunt Sue should go to school and feel lucky that she even got the option of going. Well, that wasn’t what Aunt Sue wanted to hear. She got so mad that she blurted out, “Shut your mouth, you red headed pecker wood!”. I don’t know about you, but I thought that was pretty funny.
