Daddy’s Update
Daddy had his first appointment with the surgeon Monday, Dr. Marx, in Monroe. He and his staff were extremely kind and helpful.
Dr. Marx has orderd a battery of tests to be done before surgery can be scheduled, test include another stress test and heart workup, another CT scan, and a visit with the Pulmonagist.
Daddy (along with Mother and I) was relieved to know that Dr. Marx plans are to do the surgery laparscopically with the highly likelihood of having to also do a hybrid, small incision at the top of the abdomen area to allow access to complete the reconstruction process to the transverse colon area.

We are so pleased that Buck’s appointment was informative and reassuring. Maybe the new round of tests will give the doctors all the information they need to preform a successful surgery and get him on his way to recovery. You will all continue to be in our prayers.
