Daddy’s Update

Daddy had his first appointment with the surgeon Monday, Dr. Marx, in Monroe. He and his staff were extremely kind and helpful.

Dr. Marx has orderd a battery of tests to be done before surgery can be scheduled, test include another stress test and heart workup, another CT scan, and a visit with the Pulmonagist.

Daddy (along with Mother and I) was relieved to know that Dr. Marx plans are to do the surgery laparscopically with the highly likelihood of having to also do a hybrid, small incision at the top of the abdomen area to allow access to complete the reconstruction process to the transverse colon area.

Prayer Request

I just wanted to tell everyone that we’ve added a prayer request this week.  A friend of Sue and George had an accident and is in the hospital.  Please check out the Prayer Request link at the top for all the information, including the mailing address if you would like to send a card.
